ROVIGO – This evening the traditional exchange of greetings of the Baseball Softball Club Rovigo by Itas Mutua was held in the Auditorium of the “P. Paleocapa” scientific high school in Rovigo (photo Nicolò Falghera). A now traditional moment with which the large rossoblù family wanted to wish all its members and the whole city a merry Christmas, at the end of another truly extraordinary sporting year.
On this occasion, the rossoblù “Awards” were also presented, the recognitions to the athletes who most distinguished themselves during the year in their respective championships and in their respective roles. A moment of sharing and serenity which confirmed how the company is presided over by Alessandro Boniolo be extremely united even outside the diamond and maintain excellent relationships with all the sporting and educational realities of Rovigo. Like the “P. Paleocapa” scientific high school, which with its sports focus continues to be an ideal place of growth for many local athletes.
To welcome all those present, together with the rossoblù number one, also the former teacher of the Rovigo institute Pia Polierovery close to the Baseball Softball Club Rovigo also in the role of president of the Panathlon Club Rovigo.
Athletes, managers, technicians and many family members gave applause to all the rossoblù teams. Starting with the seniors, confirmed in the top national baseball and softball series, but also for all the young athletes of the academy, in particular the very young Italian champions of the Under 13 softball team. Naturally, representatives of the baseball team for the blind, the boys from Serie C baseball and the Elite team, as well as many authorities and partners also participated in the rossoblù party.
The regional councilor and former regional councilor for sport Cristiano Corazzari he recalled how the Baseball Softball Club Rovigo has now become a sporting excellence throughout the Veneto. The municipal councilor added to the compliments Andrea Bimbatti and the provincial councilor with responsibility for sport Edoardo Lubian.
There is also a large window dedicated to the many supporters of the rossoblù club: Lorenzo Rossi by Itas Mutua, Giorgia Fonsatti at Adriatic LNG, Vittorino Sasso by Brico Ok, Riccardo Casarotti of Solomec and Paolo Astolfi. The young man also participated in the rossoblù party Luca Mullera Dutch volunteer who is having a great experience in the Baseball Softball Club Rovigo and who is giving a great help in the activities on the pitch and in promoting baseball at school.
The Awards for baseball went to Enrico Crepaldi e Pablo Pietrogrande (best pitchers), Enrico Buin (best internal), Lorenzo Taschin (best external), Giacomo Taschin (best batsman), Nick Nosti (Mvp 2025) e Andrea Bernardi (hr). Matteo Zangirolami was awarded as best young person, while a Julian Dreni he was recognized as the best runner of the 2025 Serie A championship. The former rossoblù player was also welcome during the evening Matteo Marelli who flew to US professional baseball over the summer together with the other young talent Giacomo Taschin.
Among the girls of Serie A softball, the following were awarded: Livia Bernardi (best runner – hr), Chiara Bolognini (best internal), Alessia Boracelli e Carola Servello (best external), Valeria Munaretto (best pitcher), Sara Monari (best batsman), Claudia Amato (Mvp 2025) e Sabrina Bottazzi (best young).
