Football star Aaron Rodgers keeps the Pittsburgh Steelers on course for the playoffs in the NFL.
The quarterback led his team with two touchdown passes to make it 28:15 against the Miami Dolphins. The Steelers lead the AFC North with three games to go with 8:6 wins.
NFL star Rodgers wanted to be “part of something special.”
“That’s why I wanted to come back – to be part of something special,” said the 42-year-old, who signed for a year in Pittsburgh after two disappointing seasons with the New York Jets. “We’re playing meaningful games, we’re leading the division by one game – there’s still a lot to play for.”
Rodgers, who became a legend in 18 years with the Green Bay Packers with the 2010 Super Bowl triumph, completed 23 of 27 passes to his teammate and had 224 yards without an interception.
In November he suffered a fracture in his left wrist, but made his comeback after just two weeks with a splint. Miami was eliminated from the play-off race with its eighth defeat of the season.
