ROBERT MURIĆ (29), the former great talent of Dinamo, is again looking for a new club after terminating his contract with Slovenia’s Mura. The former member of Modri and Rijeka was thus left without an engagement for the third time in his career, but it seems that he could soon return to Croatian football.
Unsuccessful Slovenian episode
Murić did not live up to expectations in Slovenia. During this season, he played 16 games for Mura and registered only one assist, which was not enough for the leaders of the club from Murska Sobota to offer him an extension of cooperation.

Salvation of a career in the second division?
As he reports New listMurić should not be without a club for long because Opatija is interested in his services, which has already sent him an offer and is now waiting for an answer. Opatija competes in the First Football League, the second tier of Croatian football, where they are fighting to stay. Currently, it is in the penultimate place with 14 points, which is the same as the bottom Croatia from Zmijavac.
If Murić accepts the offer, Opatija would become his fifth Croatian club in his career. He previously played for Zagorec from Krapina, Dinamo, Rijeka and Slaven Belupo.
