Portuguese coach says he had his suitcase stolen during a flight from Rio de Janeiro to Lisbon
Renato Paiva reported on Sunday, through social media, a robbery of which he was a victim during the trip that began on Saturday and which had Rio de Janeiro as its starting point and Lisbon as its final destination.
The Portuguese coach claims that his “suitcase was broken into” and that “items were stolen as gifts for family members”, including “several shirts from Brazilian clubs”.
In the message left in Instagram stories, where he shares part of the boarding pass, Renato Paiva asks for intervention from TAP, the company he traveled with, lamenting the “zero security”, despite the amount he paid “at the price of gold” for the tickets.
“TAP Air flight. Rio de Janeiro-Lisbon flight. Premium customer. High-priced tickets with guaranteed benefits! Suitcase robbed and items stolen as gifts for family members! Several Brazilian club shirts stolen. Zero security! But payment for the flight at the price of gold! Disappointment and losses! TAP Air Portugal, I await action as we know there are cameras to identify the culprits!”, wrote the 55-year-old technician.
