Last summer the long-awaited arrival of Raúl Moro to Ajax came about. The Amsterdam team paid eleven million euros for the young Spaniard, who came over from Real Valladolid. However, Moro was not yet convincing in his first six months at Ajax and according to the latest reports from Spain, a temporary departure seems to be an option. There is even said to be concrete interest from LaLiga.

Moro already appeared on the radar at Ajax in early 2025, where technical director Alex Kroes did everything he could to bring him to the Johan Cruijff ArenA. The Amsterdammers did not succeed in this, but were successful six months later. Moro signed for five seasons and got opportunities at Ajax in his first weeks, but did not impress. Now the 23-year-old attacker seems to be sidetracked.

‘Raúl Moro can leave Ajax’

According to the latest reports from Spain, Ajax is not reluctant to a quick departure of Raúl Moro, who could leave on a rental basis during the winter transfer period. This is because the Amsterdam club management sees that the former Spain youth international has sufficient potential and does not want to slow down his development.

There is also sufficient interest for Moro, despite his disappointing first half of the season at Ajax. Valencia, Real Oviedo and Espanyol are all said to be interested in the temporary arrival of the multifunctional winger. The preference for Moro would also be a return to the Spanish fields, while unnamed clubs from Italy are also interested. Espanyol is said to have the best credentials at the moment and is even in a hurry to confirm Moro’s arrival quickly.
