Rapid Vienna: Coaching Change Imminent – sport24.at

SK Rapid’s search for a coach is apparently nearing completion.

According to “Sky Sport Austria”, the Danish coach Johannes Hoff Thorup (36) is in Vienna for the second time to speak to those responsible for Rapid. Thorup’s last coaching position was at Norwich City in the English Championship until April. The 36-year-old has been without a club since then.

Before joining Norwich City, Thorup worked for FC Nordsjaelland in Denmark. He is characterized by an offensive style of play and the promotion of talent and youth.

Rapid separated from coach Peter Stöger at the end of November. Interim coach Stefan Kulovits was only able to get two points in five competitive games.
