Raiders’ Kyu Blu Kelly Season-Ending Injury

Cornerback Kyu Blu Kelly, who leads the Las Vegas Raiders with three interceptions, was placed on injured reserve for the remainder of the season Tuesday with a torn patella tendon.

Kelly was injured Sunday in a 24-17 loss to the Denver Broncos.

The Raiders signed cornerback Chigozie Anusiem, who was on the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad.

Kelly, who is originally from Las Vegas, was one of the few players to stand out this season for the Raiders. He was never a starter in his first two seasons in the NFL, and he worked his way up with four different teams along the way, including the Raiders.

Kelly has made eight starts this season, and he has appeared in 13 games in total.
