Quimperlé Badminton: Flying Tuesdays a Hit

The Kerjouanneau room hosted Tuesday, December 23, 2025, the first “Flying Tuesday” of the Christmas holidays. “He had great success with 59 doubles pairs. Four tables were proposed with twelve to sixteen pairs,” explains Quentin Tuaillon, responsible for this organization for the badminton club Kemperle (BCK). “This edition has once again confirmed the attractiveness of the event, with participants from Switzerland, the Paris region and the Nantes region, currently on vacation in the sector. Many local sportspeople were also there, notably footballers and kayakers, alongside badminton players from the clubs of Lanester, Cléguer, Trégunc, as well as the Quimperlé region.

A mixed, intergenerational sport

Unifying, these “Flying Tuesday” tournaments, open to all, are particularly important for the BCK because they make it possible to offer a mixed, intergenerational sport, open to all, in a spirit of sharing and discovery. The next “Flying Tuesday” will take place Tuesday, December 30, in the Kerjouanneau room.
