He Santos took another strategic step towards sporting excellence by signing an unprecedented alliance with Aspirethe largest technological center for athlete preparation in the world. With the agreement, the Fish becomes part of the program that brings together only 51 members among the main global clubs, leagues and federationsin an exclusive environment aimed at the exchange of knowledge and good practices in the area of football performance.
The group has some of the largest teams on the planet, such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, Liverpool y Manchester Unitedwho meet two to three times a year in different countries to discuss everything that involves sports. From now on, Santos becomes part of this select international ecosystem, in which topics that go beyond performance on the field are discussed, covering areas such as physiology, medical department, recovery processes, athlete development and high-level technical management. The program is called Aspire in the World Fellows.
“This alliance with Aspire represents an important strategic move for Santos, which permanently seeks to align its tradition with the constant updating of its processes. Being inserted in an international environment of excellence, together with world-class clubs, expands our access to knowledge, innovation and good practices, strengthening the club in all areas linked to sporting performance,” declared the club president, Marcelo Teixeira.

“Since 2014 we have created this community that brings together 50 of the most important clubs, federations and leagues in the world,” said the executive director of Aspire in the World Fellows, Valter Di Salvo. “Given this, we welcome Santos Futebol Clube, which is contributing significantly to us in this exchange of knowledge and in the pursuit of the development of football.”
Recognized as a true “NASA of sports training“, the technology center houses the Aspire Academy, an institution that combines academic education from high school to university with high-performance sports training in various modalities, including soccer. In addition, the complex has a global reference medical clinic, already used by athletes such as Neymar Jr., Cristiano Ronaldo and Mbappé for treatments, surgeries and recovery processes.
With the alliance, Santos now has direct access to one of the most advanced sports innovation environments in the worldconsolidating its presence in an international network dedicated to the development of athletes and the evolution of the highest performance standards in football.
