It didn’t take long for Barry Odom to replace Vance Vice.

Enter Zach Crabtree, a young, energetic coach from Fresno State who has one career top-10 game in the country.

There is a lot of familiarity with the system run by offensive coordinator Josh Henson. Crabtree coached for Henson at USC before going to Fresno State.

He also played with Henson at Oklahoma State until 2017. Familiarity with a system can go a long way. Now, the terminology spoken from the OC to the OL coach should be similar considering Crabtree grew as a player and coach under Henson.

Expect Crabtree to bring a new approach to an offensive line.
