PSG vs Rennes: Ramos Scores, Neves Assists – Highlights

After falling to second in the French League, due to the defeat at Monaco, PSG returned to winning ways and scored the biggest defeat of the season in the competition (5-0), against Rennes.

João Neves and Vitinha were starters for the Parisians, with Gonçalo Ramos starting again on the substitutes bench. The first half saw the rise of PSG, who took the lead in the 28th minute, with Kvaratskhelia’s accurate kick, after an assist from Lucas Hernández.

Just before the break, the Parisians reached 2-0 and with a Portuguese player in the game. Barcola discovered João Neves inside the area and the ex-Benfica player only had to assist Mayulu for the goal.

The return of the dressing room brought an even more dominant PSG and, with some naturalness, the third goal didn’t take long to arrive. After scoring, Mayulu reversed roles and assisted Kvaratskhelia for the Georgian’s double and 3-0 in favor of Luis Enrique’s men.

Things got even easier for the Parisians in the 74th minute, when Jacquet received a second yellow card and a red card. Note PSG’s fourth goal in the 88th minute, through Mbaye, and the handful appearing in the added time by Gonçalo Ramos.

The victory keeps the team in second place in the French League, just one point behind Lens, who lead with 34 points.
