Already very interested last summer, Paris Saint-Germain has not given up on the idea of recruiting Franco Mastantuono. Taking advantage of the young Argentinian’s short playing time at Real Madrid, the Parisian club is considering a new offensive, without having a real opening on the Madrid side.
Recently arrived at Real Madrid after beating the Parisian competition, Franco Mastantuono is struggling to find his place in the Merengue rotation. A situation which has not escaped PSG, always attentive to the profile of the young attacking midfielder. According to several sources, Luis Enrique is pushing internally to relaunch this file from the winter transfer window, convinced of the player’s potential and his suitability for the Parisian project.
But despite renewed interest from PSG, Real Madrid are categorical. The Madrid management does not wish to consider a departure from Mastantuono, even less towards Paris. Florentino Pérez would refuse the idea of strengthening a direct competitor on the European scene, even in the event of a substantial offer. Especially since relations between the two clubs remain tense, with Real Madrid taking a close interest in Vitinha, a centerpiece of the Parisian environment. A firm position which seriously complicates PSG’s ambitions on this issue.
