Porzingis Returns: Hawks Fall in NBA Action

Latvian basketball player Kristaps Porzingis scored 25 points on Friday in the National Basketball Association (NBA) match, in which the Atlanta “Hawks” team he represented lost. The Hawks lost to the Denver Nuggets 133-134 at home.

The Nuggets started the last quarter with a nine-point deficit (94-103), but took the initiative with a 23-3 breakthrough, which Denver club leader Jokic watched from the bench.

Porzingis had not played since November 26 due to illness.

With 13 wins in 24 games, the Hawks are in 9th place in the Eastern Conference. The Atlanta club, which has lost three games in a row, will play its next game on the road against the Washington “Wizards” on Saturday.
