Philippe Presti: New France SailGP Team Leader

The French Sail GP team presented its team for the 2026 season, notably with the arrival of Philippe Presti.

The French SailGP team presented its new cycle for the 2026 season. Ranked in the top 5 of the international championship for three years, the blue-white-red sail is choosing continuity. Quentin Delapierre (pilot of the F50 tricolor), Manon Audinet (tactician), Jason Saunders (flight controller), Timothé Lapauw (grinder) and Olivier Herlédant (grinder) are reappointed.

At the same time, the team changed its composition following the configuration changes imposed on the F50s and did not renew the contracts of Kevin Peponnet (wing trimmer) and Matthieu Vandame (grinder).

On the arrivals side, four new athletes join the structure: Leigh McMillan (Wing trimmer) Bruno Mourniac (Grinder & headsail trimmer), Enzo Balanger (Reserve athlete / young talent) and Amélie Riou (Reserve tactician). But the flagship announcement of the transfer window is the recruitment of Philippe Presti, winner of the America’s Cup and already several times titled in the SailGP championships.
