With various activities such as meetings, visits and social dialogue, the representatives of the Peru Libre bench continued their representation work for the month of December.

In the city of Puno, parliamentarian Flavio Cruz Mamani participated in a meeting where he recognized karatekas and judo athletes from the provinces of Yunguyo and Chucuito, for their outstanding participation and the important achievements achieved in the Pan American Karate Championship, held on August 30 and 31, 2025.

“His performance has raised the name of Puno and Peru, demonstrating that discipline, perseverance and sporting commitment are values ​​that form upright and competitive citizens,” he indicated.

He added that this recognition not only celebrates medals, but also inspires new generations and strengthens the sporting spirit that our region needs. From our role, we reaffirm our commitment to continue promoting sport as a tool for social development and youth training, he said.

At another time, he participated in a meeting to make visible the future progress of the project “Improvement of the Urban Mobility Service on Av. Los Ángeles and Av. Jesús, in the Los Ángeles neighborhood of the Populated Center of Alto Puno”, a work long awaited by the population.

This project has been approved in the budget for fiscal year 2026, with an investment of S/ 4,167,735, guaranteeing the construction of better roads, greater security and decent urban mobility for thousands of residents of said town.

In Chachapoyas, department of Amazonas, legislator Segundo Montalvo Cubas, visited the facilities of the regional government, where he held a conversation with Governor Gilmer Horna, who accompanied by his officials made known the needs of the entity he directs, in order to promote the social and economic development of his jurisdiction.

Legislator Kelly Portalatino Avalos participated in a meeting where she was presented with the “Award for Excellence in the Legislative Function”, awarded by the defense management team of the San Pedro University.

During the meeting, he thanked and recognized the committed work of the officials of said entity, pointing out that this strengthens the institutions and higher education.

“As a graduate, I could not stop being present or supporting the actions that allow San Pedro University to continue working in accordance with Law 32494, guaranteeing its academic continuity and the right of thousands of students to quality education for all students,” she stated.
