Pertamina EP Cepu & PWI Blora Sports Event

Blora (ANTARA) – PT Pertamina Exploration and Production (EP) Cepu Field Zone 11 cooperates with the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) Blora to organize sports activities with media journalists at the multi-purpose building, Jepon Village, Blora Regency, Central Java.

The public relations department of Pertamina EP Cepu Field, Edi Arto in Blora, explained on Tuesday that joint sports are a series of annual commercial activities aimed at fostering positive synergy between Pertamina EP and the media.

“This program is one of the company’s efforts to strengthen communications while building strategic alliances with members of the press,” he said.

This collaboration is considered important because the relationship between companies and journalists must be maintained in an open, constructive and mutually supportive manner.

In addition to strengthening relationships, this activity also offers participants a place to stay fit.

Pertamina emphasizes that physical health is an important foundation for media workers who are highly mobile and often work under time pressure.

PWI Blora members presented their best pairs to compete against the Pertamina EP Cepu Field team in the preliminary round. All matches were competitive, but sportsmanship remained paramount.

Pertamina EP Cepu Field appreciates the participation of all participants and hopes that joint sports activities can become a routine agenda in all regions.

In the final, the Fajar-Muji pair from PWI Blora performed impressively and managed to defeat the Edi-Herjuno pair from Pertamina EP with a score of 2-0. This victory made them double badminton champions this year.

The next joint sports series will take place in: Bojonegoro, Wednesday (10/12): Football match at Singonoyo Field, Sukorejo Village, Tuban, Thursday (11/12): Conclusion of the series with a basketball match.
