Parking Lot Knife Dispute: Details & Updates

Ludwigsburg (p). A dispute over a parking space on Myliusstrasse in Ludwigsburg degenerated into a physical altercation on Saturday afternoon around 2:45 p.m.

As the Ludwigsburg police headquarters reported, two 40 and 42-year-old men, who wanted to park in a disabled parking space, initially got into a dispute with a 22-year-old man over this parking space. The 22-year-old is said to have then hit the 42-year-old and tried to injure him with a knife. Two relatives, aged 25 and 46, are said to have rushed to the 22-year-old’s aid and together hit the 42-year-old and pushed the 40-year-old. The 46-year-old is said to have held a baseball bat, but did not use it against his opponents.

After the argument, the 25-year-old and the 46-year-old fled into an adjacent building. The emergency services, alerted by witnesses, met everyone involved as part of the search and checked them. The 22-year-old’s knife was confiscated. The 46-year-old was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The 22-year-old and the 25-year-old were released after their personal details were recorded. The investigation is ongoing.
