We weren’t very far from the party atmosphere this Monday, December 8 at the Paris FC training center. A year after the arrival of the Arnault family – (at the head of the LVMH group (owner of “Parisien-Aujourd’hui en France”) – and Red Bull within its administration, the capital’s club formalized and presented the project to extend its training center based in Orly, in Val-de-Marne. A lasting anchor in eastern Paris that all those involved, from shareholders to managers including communities, have in turn welcomed. And one more “step” in the club’s rise to power.
“Since our arrival, certain steps have already been taken with the men’s team’s promotion to Ligue 1 and the first major trophy for our women’s team (the Parisiennes won the Coupe de France last May), but I believe that today is an even more important step than the two previous ones, said Antoine Arnault, its owner. We must continue to work on this local fabric and contribute to the development of this famous pool of Ile-de-France players. »
It is in fact to meet the demands of very high-level football and to take advantage of the “Paris region region, the best in the world with that of Sao Paulo in Brazil” in terms of talent that the club has made this expansion. By the end of 2028, the half-sphere occupied by the club will double in volume and increase from eight to 16 hectares. It’s impossible not to “bite” on the neighboring Grand Godet park but as compensation, two new parks will be created: the Parc du Bouvray in the same town, and the Nungesser Park occupying nine hectares of Villeneuve-le-Roi.
As for the sporting priority of this extensive work: three new fields which must be delivered during the summer of 2026 – two others will follow by 2028 – and allow the different teams to train in even better conditions from next season.
The women’s training center inaugurated in early 2026
Until now, the two professional teams shared the premises adjoining the Parc des Saules. Ultimately, each will benefit from a dedicated building in direct proximity to the land. Opposite the premises of the men’s first team, the training center reserved for young players will take pride of place.
The one reserved for young female gems, measuring some 1,420 m² with a video room, medical space, performance room and green roof, has already started to emerge. It must be inaugurated “early 2026”.
“It was an urgent need for the club, a sporting necessity,” explained Pierre Ferracci, president of Paris FC in front of the thirty journalists present. Without going into the financial details of the operation, the latter, still a minority shareholder, confirms “a heavy”, “significant” but capital investment. “We are going to give our two elite teams, our training centers and our youth teams the opportunity to work in better conditions. »
