Saraí Aparicio will seek gold at the Chile 2025 Paranamerican Games
Santiago, Chile; November 2.- Saraí Asenet Aparicio stars in a historic moment for Guanajuato and Mexico by advancing to the grand final and entering for the first time in a dispute for gold in para archery at the Chile 2025 Parapan American Games.

The archer, who was part of the Mexican delegation that debuted in Chile in this discipline, consistently remained in second place in the qualifying rounds in the recurve archery tests in which she faced the representatives of Colombia, Peru, Chile and Brazil.
In the qualifying rounds, which were held at the Peñalolén Archery Center in Santiago, Aparicio registered 454 points, while the Colombian Maira Alejandra Mosquera Rocha placed first with 520 points. Third place went to Inés Antonella Pardo from Chile who reached 430 points.
The semifinal placed Aparicio and Mosquera in the dispute for the gold medal, which will be defined this Monday afternoon.
For its coach, Ana Loza, this pass constitutes an unprecedented achievement for the country and Guanajuato, not only because it is the first time that Mexico has won this position, but because it has done so in a forceful way by already having secured a place on the podium.
This same Monday, Aparicio will compete in mixed teams alongside Francisco Tadeo ILLescas Núñez. The pass to the final will be decided against the Brazilian team, which will be made up of Nathalia Nunes and Felipe Eduardo Pereira.
If she wins against the Brazilian team, the Guanajuato native could compete for a second medal for Guanajuato and for Mexico in this discipline.
