Multiple sources this evening are confirming that Juventus reached a verbal agreement with Marco Ottolini to be their new director of sport.

He already worked for the club from 2018 to 2022, in charge of the players who were out on loan.
The 45-year-old left for a new experience at Genoa, which ran from 2022 to the end of October 2025when he reached an agreement for a mutual termination of the contract.

Ottolini had plenty of other proposals, including from outside of Italy, and wanted to take time to make the best decision for his future.
He has now shaken hands with Juventus, reaching a verbal agreement to become their new director of sport.
