At the end of December, Oriovac will once again become the center of minor football excitement. In the organization of NK Oriolik Veterani, from December 27 to 29, 2025, in the sports hall of Elementary School Stjepan Ilijašević, the 10th jubilee mini-football tournament Oriovac, one of the most recognizable sports events in this part of Brod-Posavina County, will be held.
It is a tournament that has been gathering quality teams, loyal spectators and a real sports atmosphere for years, and the jubilee edition brings an additional motive and even stronger competition.
A strong senior tournament and an attractive prize pool
The tournament is played in the 4+1 system, and senior teams will fight for a generous prize pool. The winner will receive 1,200 euros, the second-placed team will win 500 euros, the third-place team will receive 300 euros, while the fourth-placed team will receive 100 euros. Special prizes are provided for the best player and the best goalkeeper, who receive a trophy in addition to the cash prize.
The registration fee for senior teams is 100 euros, while for veterans it is 70 euros.
Limači and Limačići – the future of football in focus
In addition to the senior and veteran sections, this year the tournament will also have a special emphasis on the youngest. As part of the event, tournaments will be held for tins and tinswhereby the organizers further confirm the importance of working with children and developing the football future.
The draw for the younger categories has been held, the teams have been divided into groups, and the schedule of matches clearly shows that we are expecting a dynamic and meaningful day filled with football, fair play and children’s sports fun.
Schedule and competitive part
The competition starts with group matches, followed by an elimination phase – quarter-finals, semi-finals, third-place match and the grand final. The organizers have prepared a precise schedule in order for the tournament to take place without interruption, with maximum sporting quality and experience for the spectators.
Applications, draws and additional content
Team applications are accepted until December 26 at 6 p.m., while the drawing of pairs will take place on the same day at 7 p.m. in Caffe bar Velebit. A raffle is provided for visitors and participants, and the entrance fee for all tournament participants is a symbolic 2 euros.

The sponsor of the tournament is the Municipality of Oriovac, which continuously supports sports events and the development of sports in the local community. The tenth edition of the tournament confirms that the mini-football tournament in Oriovac has become an unavoidable part of the holiday sports calendar.
