Opava faces a change in its property structure. The Silesian club, which was sold in 2024 by the Statutory City of Opava to AIK spol. s ro, is now heading to the next phase of ownership development. The original contract also included the city’s preferential right to buy back the shares, but Opava did not use it, thus opening the way for the share to be transferred to new owners.
Current owner Andrej Krajiček confirmed that the process of transferring shares from AIK to Simply You Vision and Football Group is underway, with each of them expected to receive a fifty percent share.
The first company is a pharmaceutical company that has been supporting the second division team for a long time. Martin Latka, who is already active in the management of the club, is the sole shareholder behind the other.
At the same time, Krajiček reminded that the entry of AIK was essential for the club. “Thanks to this cooperation, it was possible to stabilize the club in terms of sport and economy and create solid foundations for further development,” he said.
According to Krajička, now is the natural moment when Opava can move to the next stage and be handed over to new owners who will build on the stability achieved.
According to him, the whole process is in the final stage and all interested parties are in close contact.
