On Friday, December 12th, 2025, the 61-year-old victim was bumped into by the previously unknown male suspect in the Westerwaldpark parking lot in Oberhonnefeld-Gierend at around 8:30 p.m. and was briefly involved in a conversation. Shortly afterwards, the victim discovered that his wallet was missing. The suspect was described as being around 165cm tall, with a beard, of normal stature and wearing a dark blue, hip-length jacket and a green and white baseball cap. An investigation has been initiated.
