What is Noah Sadiki’s secret to avoiding injuries? The Congolese midfielder answered this question in the mixed zone at the CAN.
The Democratic Republic of Congo successfully entered the competition against Benin this week at the CAN, winning (1-0) with, in particular, a very good Noah Sadiki in the midfield. After the meeting, the ex-Unionist answered questions from journalists on site.
He notably mentioned the case of binational players coming from Belgium, and his role as well as Mario Stroeykens and Mathieu Epolo, who could well call on others to opt for the Leopards.
Sadiki’s secret? The Bible
But Sadiki also answered a question about his physical form, and the fact that he has almost never been injured since the start of his career. And instead of responding with words, the Sunderland player responded with gestures.
Noah Sadiki indeed brandished… the Bible he was holding in his hand. A reminder of his strong faith, which he never hid during various interviews.
The DRC will face Senegal this Saturday in their second African Cup of Nations group match, before challenging Botswana next Tuesday.
