Nikola Jovic: Exclusive Miami Heat NBA Interview

Nikola Jovic has been living his big dream for over three years. Drafted 27th by the Miami Heat in 2022, the 22-year-old has been hunting for baskets in the best basketball league in the world, NBA, ever since. During this period, Jovic has undoubtedly improved enormously – which is also reflected in the fact that he now also plays an important role in the Serbian national team. He and his team won the bronze medal at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

In a video interview with our sports editor Dirk Sing, Jovic talks, among other things, about the Miami Heat’s new game system, the changes in the player and person Nikola Jovic over the past three years, the Serbian national team and his compatriot Darko Rajakovic, who has been working as NBA head coach for the Toronto Raptors since 2023. As a “surprise”, the likeable small forward was also asked a question from Germany at the end. More specifically from 17-year-old Serbian Lazar Romcevic, who plays basketball for PSV Ingolstadt.
