After an irregular season, in which he could not defend the good points achieved in 2024, Nicolás Jarry left the Top 100: he is currently ranked 123 on the professional circuit. However, the Chilean tennis player knew how to be in the forefront, since his best historical placement is 16th.
Without a doubt, in Jarry’s head is the idea of recovering the level that took him to that position in the world rankings. To do this, he made a very strong decision at the end of the year in 2025.
The 30-year-old player made official on his social networks the separation of his relationship with César Fabregasthe coach who accompanied him for a long time, with whom he reached the final of the 2024 Rome Masters 1000 (defeat to Alexander Zverev) and won the Santiago and Geneva trophies, both in 2023.
“After several years, a lot of work and shared time, today a chapter closes. Thank you César for all these years we worked together, all the progress we made and for always being so good to my entire family. You were and will be very important in my professional career and as a human being. All my best wishes to you in your new projects!“Jarry wrote, making this closure of work together with Fábregas official.
For now, Jarry will continue working alongside José Checa Calvo, although it is not ruled out that he could add another member to his technical team.
