30 out of 32 NFL teams are on Forbes’ top 50 of the most valuable sports teams. The Dallas Cowboys top the list.
One sport in particular dominates the list of the most valuable sports teams.
The American business magazine Forbes published its annual list of the world’s 50 most valuable sports teams on Thursday, and American football, as usual, makes a big dent in the list.
30 out of the 32 teams in the NFL are thus represented on the list, which is also topped by an NFL team.
The Dallas Cowboys are thus at the top with an estimated value of 13 billion dollars. This corresponds to almost DKK 83 billion and is an increase of 29 percent compared to last year.
Dallas has topped the list since 2016, when the NFL team overtook Real Madrid soccer club.
On this year’s list, the basketball team Golden State Warriors is second, the NFL teams Los Angeles Rams and New York Giants are third and fourth, while the basketball team Los Angeles Lakers round out the top five. The four teams are estimated to be worth between DKK 64 and 70 billion each.
Four football clubs have found their way into the top 50, which is three less than last year. The four clubs are Real Madrid, Manchester United, Barcelona and Liverpool, while Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are off the list.
Real Madrid is the most valuable football club with an estimated value of 41.5 billion kroner.
