Carolina Panthers (8-8) – Seattle Seahawks (13-3) : 10-27

Cleveland Browns (4-12) – Pittsburgh Steelers (9-7) : 13-6

Kick-off Sunday at 10:05 p.m.

Las Vegas Raiders (2-14) – New York Giants (3-13) : 10-34

The Raiders are heading straight for the 1st pick in the 2026 NFL draft with this 10th consecutive defeat. Deprived of several key players, Geno Smith’s teammates (20/28, 176 yards, TD, 2 INT) logically suffer the law of the more serious and diligent Giants. One action symbolizes this match and the Raiders’ season: a new interception by Geno Smith at the start of the 4th quarter when the score was 27-10. A constant this season which also ends with the quarterback’s ankle injury.

Still in the lead since the start of the match, the Giants did not give up this time. It must be said that they were helped by the overall weakness of their opponents. Unlike in recent weeks, Jaxson Dart (22/30, 207 yards – 9 races, 48 yards, 2 TDs) does not visit the blue tent, and delivers a good match. In his task, he was helped by an effective ground game, an aerial game which is just as effective thanks to Wandale Robinson (11 REC, 113 yards). Moreover, the pocket receiver exceeds 1000 receiving yards for the first time in his career. He also benefited from special teams help, with a kick return returned for a touchdown by Deonte Banks.

The other satisfaction on the New York side is found on the defense side, with a ground defense which blocked Ashton Jeanty (16 races, 60 yards), 2 interceptions and a new sack from Brian Burns. With 16.5 sacks, he reached a mark most reached by a Giants player since Jason Pierre-Paul in 2011. Finally, in New York, there is promise. Whereas in Las Vegas, we have to rebuild, with perhaps changes to be expected at the staff and quarterback level.

Kick-off Sunday at 7:00 p.m.

Indianapolis Colts (8-8) – Jacksonville Jaguars (12-4) : 17-23

The Jaguars are doing well. In a match that has become anecdotal for Indianapolis, after the Texans’ victory this Saturday, Jacksonville did everything to leave the locals in the match. Between fumble on trick-play, interception just before the break, or completely missed fourth attempt, the Floridians did everything to make the match difficult.

Very efficient in recent weeks, Trevor Lawrence (23/37, 263 yards, 1int; 8 carries, 26 yards, 2TDs) showed a good connection with Parker Washington (8 receptions, 115 yards), without being as brilliant as last week. He especially stood out with his legs to conclude the only two possessions that ended in touchdowns.

For the locals, Phillip Rivers (17/30, 147 yards, 1TD, 1Int) did what he could. Long clean without being exceptional, the veteran quarterback ended up making the mistake which was very costly. By being intercepted eight minutes from the end of the match, he offered the Jaguars the opportunity to take an advantage which would be definitive. Down since the beginning of November, Jonathan Taylor (21 races, 70 yards, 1TD) continues to disappoint and is sorely missed by this Colts attack.

Miami Dolphins (7-9) – Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-9) : 20-17

A defeat of no consequence for the Buccaneers. The Panthers’ loss to the Seahawks made this game a no-brainer. Tampa Bay and Carolina will face off in Week 18 with the division title and playoffs at stake.

Fortunately for Tampa, because this Sunday’s performance was not reassuring. Baker Mayfield (33/44, 346 yards, 2 TDs, 2 ints) alternated the good and the very bad, since he lost three balls alone (2 interceptions, 1 fumble).

Miami did not even punish these errors excessively, since the Dolphins only got 7 points from them. Tampa scored the first touchdown of the match, but Miami followed up with touchdowns from Theo Wease and Greg Dulcich on passes from Quinn Ewers (14/22, 172 yards, 2 TDs). Trailing 17-7 at the break, the Buccaneers calmed their opponents after the break, but never came back, the fault of two lost balls by Mayfield. Mike Evans reduced the gap with 50 seconds to go, but the onside kick was then covered by the Dolphins.

New York Jets (3-13) – New England Patriots (13-3) : 10-42

A walk, a fitness walk, a training match. Call it what you want, because between the Jets and the Patriots, there is not 1, not 2, but almost ten classes of difference. The meeting was played in a half where the score was already 35 to 3. A domination reflected in the figures, with 344 yards produced against only 77. The Patriots are therefore guaranteed to finish at the top of the AFC East, a first since 2019.

Drake Maye (19/21, 256 yards, 5 TDs) is in MVP mode. He makes his first incomplete pass 2 minutes from the end of the first period. A period where he threw 4 touchdowns for 4 different receivers. Rhamondre Stevenson (8 races, 55 yards, TD – 5 REC, 55 yards, TD) even scores a double, while Stefon Diggs (6 REC, 101 yards, TD) already has 100 yards receiving at halftime.

In the second half, he even pleases players that we almost never see, like Efton Chism III, and will give way to Josh Dobbs. In addition to Drake Maye, all the starters for this match returned to the sidelines to make way for the usual substitutes.

Otherwise, on the Jets side, there is not much to remember except that Breece Hall (14 races, 111 yards, TD) becomes the first running back to exceed 1000 yards on the ground in a season since 2015. To celebrate, he scores a nice touchdown on the 59-yard run.

Cincinnati Bengals (6-10) – Arizona Cardinals (3-13) : 37-14

Joe Burrow (24/31, 305 yards, 2 TDs) doesn’t play for much anymore, but at least he’s having fun. The quarterback and his attack took place this Sunday against the Cardinals. Just over 400 yards, 10/15 on third down, 5/5 in the red zone, over 40 minutes of possession. Too easy. Chase Brown also had fun with 101 yards and 2 touchdowns.

And the good news is that the defense has also woken up. Apart from a series in which the defenders forgot that they could use their arms, Cincinnati completely suffocated Jacoby Brissett (21/37, 212 yards, 2 TDs) throughout the start of the match. Arizona’s offense didn’t even have 100 yards after three quarters. The Cards finally saved the honor with a second touchdown in the last quarter, but there was no photo.

Tennessee Titans (3-13) – New Orleans Saints (6-10) : 26-34

Cam Ward (21/40, 251 yards, 2 TDs) again achieved some feats and showed a little more of his potential. But that wasn’t enough. With a last ball recovered 1mn37 from time with 8 points behind, the number one of the last Draft had the opportunity to strike hard. But his attack stalled. And although he struggled in all directions over the last action, it came to nothing.

The other rookie quarterback of the evening also showed progress. Tyler Shough (22/27, 333 yards, 2 TDs) has a good record. He gained strength as the match progressed. After a scoreless first quarter, New Orleans rolled forward, with points on 5 of the next 6 possessions.

Audric Estime added 94 yards on the ground on just 16 carries, with the winning touchdown as a bonus. New Orleans wins its fourth game in a row. A first in five years!
