The sprint is on more than ever in this final stretch of the regular season. In line of sight? The 2025 NFL playoffs which will crown, at the end of Super Bowl LX, the champion of this 2025 season. But before dreaming of the Super Bowl, it is already necessary to qualify for these 2025 NFL playoffs.
Qualifying for the playoffs
For those new to the world of the NFL, a quick reminder of the qualification method. To play the NFL playoffs, there are two possibilities which qualify a total of 7 teams per conference. The first, and probably the most easily understandable, is to win your division. Whatever your record, if you are division champions, you will benefit from one of the top 4 seeds and you will have the advantage of receiving the first playoff match.
If you fail to be champions, all hopes of reaching the NFL playoffs are not lost! The team must then be one of the three best records in its conference among non-division champion teams. Thus, the team will qualify via the “wild card” system and will be able to participate in the final table.

At the end of week 14 of competition, no team has yet officially validated its ticket for the 2025 NFL playoffs. However, the first qualifications should take place next week.
