Many of you are probably not only looking forward to presents at Christmas, but also to Christmas Gameday in the NFL. The encounters on December 25th are part of the tradition and cause quite a stir.
The main attractions are the games between the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Commanders and between the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings. But on such a special day it doesn’t stop there. As with the Super Bowl, the matches are supported by music.
Kelly Clarkson und Snoop Dogg am NFL Christmas Gameday
Fans will be tuned in to the games by Emmy and Grammy winner Kelly Clarkson. The singer will perform her world-famous Christmas song “Underneath the Tree” for you. The show will take place before the game between the Cowboys and the Commanders.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. If you really don’t want to miss anything, you should watch the broadcast start at Tune in at 5:00 p.m. But it’s probably enough if you leave 6:30 p.m be there.
But that’s not enough. Because there will be a halftime show in the game between the Lions and the Vikings. The performance will be led by legendary rapper Snoop Dogg. The program is completed by Lainey Wilson and other surprise guests. Among them is the K-pop group HUNTR/X with EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami. They became known, among other things, through the series KPop Demon Hunters.
Due to the sporting program, exact scheduling is difficult. In principle, a half lasts only 30 minutes, but there will be some interruptions during this time. At this point we are expecting a time of 11:30 p.m. to midnight. If you want to be on the safe side, watch the first half.
Which channels can I watch the show on?
The broadcasting rights for Christmas Gameday in Germany are not held by DAZN or RTL, but by Netflix. The streaming provider was there last year – and with success. All you need is a subscription to the service. New customers receive the cheapest package for currently 4.99 euros per month. The recording can also be viewed afterwards.
