These are the words of the president of Federbasket Gianni Petrucci during the press conference to present Mimmo Cacciuni’s book Angelone Bomber and Mister Franco – One more game, in the Paolo Rossi room of the FIGC, talking about the NBA Europe project with Rome and Milan which should represent Italy.
«The NBA doesn’t give us players for the national team, now we will have the satisfaction of having them because the championship will stop», continues Petrucci who finally addresses a thought to Achille Polonara, torchbearer for the Milan-Cortina Games. «Polonara torchbearer?
