Repudiation of acts of violence in the Sanjuanina Higher University Football League

The National University of San Juan, through the Secretariat of University Welfare and the General Directorate of Sports and Recreation, expresses its most energetic repudiation of the acts of violence, physical and verbal, that occurred during the match played on December 18 within the framework of the Sanjuanina Superior University Football League.

Therefore it resolves:

Suspend the finals of the Higher University League scheduled for December 20, 2025.

Begin the process of identifying the responsible persons and apply the sanctions provided for in current regulations.

The University expresses its solidarity with the attacked referee and with the Cooperative that represents him, to whom it offers the necessary support. The Higher University League is not only an athletic competition but a fundamental link in the pedagogical and human training of those who participate in it. The playing field is a learning space where democratic coexistence is forged.

Violence has no place at the University. For this reason, it reaffirms its commitment to building a university sport that is synonymous with encounters, health and mutual respect.
