What would have to happen for Nacional to play next year’s Libertadores?
For Atlético Nacional fans and their directors, there is nothing more “sacred” than getting a place in the Libertadores. For this reason, the sports project always aims to achieve this every year. However, as things are in the Colombian League, the green team would be left out of “La Gloria Eterna” next year.
That is the basis that sustains the illusion that Nacional will go to the Libertadores. If Tolima is champion of the second semester, they would not only get their place in the group stage of the most important club tournament in South America, but they would open the door to the previous phase for the green cast of Antioquia.
