Mutant Football League 2: Release Date & Pizza Fria Details

Digital Dreams announced this Wednesday, 10, that Mutant Football League 2 was released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, via Steam. The arcade-style American football game features clashes between teams made up of mutants in arenas with traps and environmental hazards, as well as solo and online multiplayer modes.

Direct sequence of Mutant Football League2017, Mutant Football League 2 is presented as a spiritual successor to the classics Mutant League Football e Mutant League Hockeyreleased for the Sega Genesis in the 1990s. The project is directed by Michael Mendheim, also responsible for the original titles in the series.

Not field, Mutant Football League 2 adapts controls and structure from traditional American football games, but inserts elements such as traps on the field, player deaths and the use of weapons. Teams are made up of different types of creatures, such as mutant superhumans, orcs, skeletal undead, and armored BruiserBots, distributed across more than 35 teams, including 32 major league teams and three minor league teams. There are also cards of historic players who can be signed in free agency, in addition to the possibility of creating an original team.

Mutant Football League 2 features varied game modes, including single-player Season and the Dynasty Supreme franchise mode, in which the player manages a team over several seasons, participates in annual drafts and competes in Mayhem Bowls. There is also an option for online matches, with multiplayer support. During matches, it is possible to evolve athletes, unlock sets of armor, mutations and weapons, in addition to using temporary boost items to change performance on the field.

Another feature is the Doom Field Designer, a tool that allows you to create personalized arenas, defining the position of dangers such as mountain ranges, fire geysers and climate changes, with the aim of favoring the home team. The narration of the matches is done by Tim Kitzrow, a well-known voice for franchises such as NBA Jam, NFL Blitz, NHL Hitz and MLB Slugfest.
