GROSSETO. Athletes, society. Girls and boys sharing dreams and sweat. They are the ones awarded on Monday 22 December in the city council hall, which hosted the excellences of Grosseto sport 2025a now consolidated event with which the Municipality of Grosseto pays homage to athletes and clubs who have distinguished themselves over the year for results, commitment and sporting value.
The sports councilor presented the awards Fabrizio Rossiwho underlined the importance of concretely supporting those who carry the name of Grosseto at the highest levels.
«An appointment that has become tradition is renewed – explained Rossi – Grosseto can boast athletes of absolute meritcapable of excelling both nationally and internationally. Our task is to provide tools, structures and support so that sporting passion can grow and last over time.” The councilor highlighted how the results obtained demonstrate that the city is increasingly unified fertile territory for sportcapable of accompanying both new talents and those who, year after year, manage to improve themselves with perseverance, preparation and willpower.
Skating and martial arts: high level results
Among the awarded companies, theAsd Skaters Maremmaprotagonist of a season full of successes thanks to the performances of Giulia BaricciItalian and regional champion in various specialties and second place in a European Cup stage, together with Chiara Baricciregional champion in the relay, e Jessica Teiregional dominator in road tests.
Important recognitions also went toAsd Judo Sakura Grossetocon Nicoleta Bulargasecond place in the Italian A2 Fijlkam championships, e Alessandra Piattoregional champion in the Beginners B category.
Baseball and team sports, Grosseto protagonist
Il Csd received the award for baseball achievement, with the Under-12 and Under-18 teams graduating Fibs regional champions and with Riccardo Sgnaolinsilver medal at the Under 12 European Championship with the Italian national team.
Recognition also came for theAsd Judo Grossetothanks to the third place achieved at the Italian Fijlkam Junior-Senior team championships by Giacomo Scadurra, Giovanni Lenzi, Matteo Mazzi and Ettore Galluzzi.
Athletics, a shower of titles
L’Asd Athletics Grosseto Banca Tema confirms itself as one of the pillars of city sport. Numerous athletes were awarded, including Mattia BartoliniItalian student champion in the discus throw, Gabriele D’AmicoItalian indoor student champion in the 200 meters, Federico FediItalian champion in the 400 hurdles Sm45 category, and several Tuscan champions in disciplines ranging from walking to middle distance, from throws to multiple events, testifying to a youth and masters sector of the highest level.
Sports dance and gymnastics, international successes
There’s also plenty of space for sports dancewith theAsd Odyssey 2001 protagonist at the Ido world championships in Poland thanks to Vittoria Abbruzzeseworld champion of Latin Style and Latin Show, and the international podiums conquered by Aurora Pellegrini, Margherita Magara, Enzo Alocci and Lorella Rossi. Italian Fidesm titles also came from the Synchro Dance, Choreographic Dance and Flamenco teams.

L’Asd Lady Francesca he has collected Italian championships, Italian Cups and regional titles in numerous categories, confirming Grosseto as a national point of reference for choreographic disciplines.
Gymnastics, tennis and swimming: young talents highlighted
The Barbanella Uno sports club and theAsd Artistica Grosseto have received recognition for their national and regional results achieved in artistic gymnastics, with Italian individual and team titles.
Il Grosseto Tennis Club was awarded for the achievements of Anna Nerellialso a protagonist on an international level, and for youth teams capable of confirming themselves as Italian champions. Finally, for theAsd Swimming Grossetothe award went to Alice Paiolettiprotagonist of international, national and regional successes which confirm the excellence of the city’s swimming movement.
Grosseto increasingly a city of sport
The ceremony restored the image of a city alive, dynamic and full of talentswhere sport represents an educational and social value as well as a competitive one. A heritage that the Municipality of Grosseto intends to continue to support, so that today’s excellence can become tomorrow’s success stories.
