Müller Podcast: Decoding the Message | SZ Sport

People who have traveled far away like to return home at Christmas, even thousands of kilometers are no obstacle. This is of course also the case with Thomas Müller, who now passes for half Canadian, but these days he is again what he always was: a Bavarian original in his hometown of Munich. With a lumberjack beard and lots of good stories to tell, he met with the SZ for an interview that also focused on his role as a footballer in his advanced years.

How did the adventurer Müller fare in his first months in Vancouver? What is it like for him as an ambassador and communicator in an environment that offers him completely new perspectives? And what ideas does Müller, who is still a footballer, have for the time that follows his active career? Christof Kneer and Philipp Schneider talked to him about all of this – and told presenter Jonas Beckenkamp about their impressions in this edition of “And Now to Sport”.
