Donovan Mitchell excels in Cleveland’s comeback in the final quarter. Superstar Stephen Curry and his Golden State Warriors, on the other hand, are not really getting going.

Washington – NBA professional Donavan Mitchell led the Cleveland Cavaliers to victory against the Washington Wizards with an outstanding performance in the final quarter. Despite being 15 points behind at the start of the fourth round, the 2016 champion ultimately secured their 15th win of the season with 130:126 against the currently worst team in the North American professional basketball league.

Mitchell scored 24 of his 48 points in the fourth round alone and played a major role in the Cavaliers’ comeback. The Wizards are the team with the worst record with just three wins from 23 games. Cleveland, on the other hand, is on course for the playoffs as seventh in the Eastern Conference.

Curry’s 39 points aren’t enough

However, even 39 points from superstar Stephen Curry were not enough for the Golden State Warriors to win. The team from the Western Conference lost against the Minnesota Timberwolves 120:127 and is still not really getting going with a balanced season record of 13:13. dpa
