Millionaire Stalker: Höbinger Hired Bodyguard

According to British police, Marie-Therese Höbinger fell victim to a stalker at the beginning of the year.

According to a report in the “Sun”, the man who has now been sentenced is the London entrepreneur Mangal Dalal. The 42-year-old sent several messages of a sexual nature to the ÖFB team player and invited her to his place.

Höbinger then blocked Dalal and reported it to her club, whereupon the “Reds” hired a “safety officer” who accompanied the 24-year-old to the games.

In February, the millionaire finally showed up at Liverpool’s away game against Manchester City and waited on the sidelines, which is why the bodyguard was alerted.

Senior public prosecutor: “Dalal’s behavior was criminal”

According to the Crown Prosecution Service, Dalal admitted to stalking during interrogation and said he was “mentally unwell” at the time. The stalker pleaded guilty in court and will be sentenced at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on January 20.

“Dalal’s behavior was criminal and will not be tolerated in a fair and equal society. We would like to thank Ms. Höbinger and Liverpool FC for their help in bringing Dalal to justice,” said Senior Prosecutor Sarah McInerney.

The 51-time Austrian international has been playing for Liverpool since 2023. After tearing his cruciate ligament in October, Höbinger will be out for months.
