MILAN CORTINA – The Olympic flame left today, Saturday 6 December, the Stadio dei Marmi in Rome and began its journey to Milan Cortina 2026. The departure with Giancarlo Peris, the last torchbearer of the 1960 Rome Games, to bring the lantern where the fire is kept inside the facility. Then the transition to Giovanni Malagò, president of the Winter Games Foundation, who lit the brazier of the journey of the flame.
