Mikulášek vs. Pali Hari: MMA Fiasco – VIDEO

Clash 14 also brought the expected conflict between Václav Mikulášek and Pavlo Vašek, known as Pali Hari. It had been escalating with provocative messages for weeks and escalated even more before the weigh-in tournament itself. Their confrontation seemed risky even during the staredown, where tension and minimal respect could be felt. The match was supposed to have an unconventional three-round format, the first under the rules of boxing with elbows, the second in the style of Thai boxing and the third according to MMA, which promised heated theater.

But even before the start, the first blow for the entire duel came. At the weigh-in, Pali Hari significantly exceeded the limit when he should have weighed 5.3 kilograms and did not meet the agreed weight limit of 100 kg. Even then it was clear that the match would be chaotic again, but the fans still hoped that they would at least see a real fight in the cage.

Instead, the duel turned into a complete fiasco. Pali Hari could not follow the rules or the referee’s instructions, he kicked in the match even in situations where it should not have been allowed, and the problem was not only individual offenses, but mainly that he continued even after repeated warnings and interruptions. The fighters kept going at each other, but instead of a controlled fight according to clearly stated rules, it started to resemble an uncontrolled battle.

The result was a win for Václav Mikulášek by disqualification, but even he was not satisfied with such an ending. Instead of a victorious feeling, there was a lingering aftertaste that the expected match didn’t even take place properly and ended before it could really show anything. In addition, the rivalry and animosity between the two did not disappear after the match, on the contrary, the whole thing acted as another spark that could escalate this conflict even more.

Before the post-match interview, Vašek Mikulášek put his gloves on the ground and said that he had finished not only the match but also a difficult stage in his life. In an emotional interview, he then said that he has put his head in order, is a co-owner of a gym and also has a bistro. He wants to build something because he realized he has nothing. In the end, he even challenged Pali Hari to a boxing match without gloves after the interview. Tomáš Le Sy allowed it for the organization and Pali Hari was given a few minutes to return to the cage.

In the end, Pali Hari did not return to the cage and Mikulášek assured everyone that he is not done with his career yet. He said he has ended a difficult phase in his life, saying that he is trying to be a better person and wants to bring closure to his past. So the match ended in a complete fiasco and the audience was not given what they expected from this duel. Complete results of Clash 14 can be found at this link >>>
