Michael Tracz: Santa Claus Visits & Community Engagement

Generally: Most recently in November, Unna entrepreneur Michael Tracz organized the Champions Gala with 600 visitors in the Unna town hall (we reported). Another sporting and social highlight. He then supported a small business selling mares. But the tour of his social commitment in the run-up to Christmas does not end there. He appears as Santa Claus (Nicholas) in kindergartens, old people’s homes, at private parties, in the Unna Kinorama and also in the Unna Zurbrüggen furniture store – and all of this for free.

“This is already a tradition for me in the run-up to Christmas,” reported Michael Tracz in an interview with sku, “I like doing it, I take the time for it and when I can put a light on other people’s faces, especially children, that is a certain satisfaction for me and then the big boy in me comes through again.”

On St. Nicholas Day, the Unna entrepreneur Michael Tracz stopped again at the Unna furniture store Zurbrüggen. He sat in the entrance area dressed as Santa Claus, devoted himself primarily to children of shopping parents, had sensitive conversations, handed out gifts and Santa Claus, which he mostly paid for out of his own pocket.

“Oh, Santa Claus is here!”, many people exclaimed from smaller and larger children in the furniture store. Some dared to approach it hesitantly, others more courageously. But everyone went back to their parents with presents after taking a photo with Santa Claus.
