Massiv, Sido & PA Sports: New Label Launch

It is not clearly explained whether and to what extent the show’s fourth juror, Ali Bumaye, is also involved in the label. In its announcement, PA only says that he, Sido and Massiv founded the record company. It is not revealed whether the top three will remain on Prototyp’s roster for the next possible seasons or whether the label’s roster will only consist of the three finalists each year.

Even if everyone in the top three gets a deal, there should still be something to win in the “Prototyp Rapstar” finale. “The finale of the show is just cash game,” summarizes PA Sports in the current issue. The cash prizes have nothing to do with the label deals and are intended to serve as a financial cushion for the artists so that they can fully concentrate on making music. Third place receives 25,000 euros, the runner-up receives 50,000 euros and the relay winner even receives 100,000 euros.

Sido is already promising that the current season’s candidates will have an advantage over their successors. Because until recently it wasn’t clear what there was to win at “Prototyp Rapstar”, Massiv, PA and Sido would know that the participants of the first season “not because of the coal” would take part.

“Prototyp Rapstar” currently has the top 25 shows in Ibiza. You can view the current issue here. From 34:55 it’s about the new label:
