This Sunday, Lando Norris fulfilled the biggest dream of his sporting life: he won his first Formula 1 world title. In Abu Dhabi, under the lights of the Yas Marina Circuit, the 26-year-old driver let his emotions escape as he crossed the finish line. Between tears and choked voices, he was received with brio and affection by those who supported him most this season, including his girlfriend, Margarida Corceiro, who lived every lap to the millimeter.
The Portuguese actress, already very familiar among those who follow the Formula 1 circus, celebrated as soon as Norris got out of the car. Amidst the euphoria, he gave him a big hug and couldn’t contain his happiness. The image of the kiss they shared went around the world, with fans applauding the couple’s complicity.

“They made a kid’s dream come true”, thanked the new champion over the radio to the team. Between the relief of the goal achieved and the weight of the season lifted from his shoulders, Norris made a point of hugging his mother, Cisca, before returning to Margarida, who didn’t let go of him in the following minutes.
Party without brakes
Once the official ceremonies were over, the celebration moved to the W Hotel, next to the circuit, where Amber Lounge organized the traditional exclusive Formula 1 after party.
VIP tables, DJs and international guests ensured the festive tone of the night. Lando Norris and Margarida Corceiro entered hand in hand, accomplices, ready to toast the title.
Wearing a white shirt and a permanent smile, the champion brought the entire room together to sing “Sweet Caroline” and “We Are The Champions”. He jumped, laughed, drank and was even lifted up by his friends in the middle of the dance floor, while the Portuguese actress smiled proudly. Between music, photos and hugs, the two were welcomed as the duo of the moment in F1.
The McLaren team, friends and several drivers also joined the celebration. And even with the test scheduled for Tuesday, Norris made it clear that there were no brakes that night. It was supposed to be a good celebration.
A pair that has already conquered the paddock
Margarida Corceiro was present at several races throughout the season. Over time, he became a natural presence among mechanics, engineers and family members, always with a relaxed and confident attitude in the face of the media coverage.
After months of watching the season side by side, the couple demonstrates a peaceful and secure relationship, present in the good times and now also in this historic achievement. Margarida celebrated the victory as part of the driver’s closest group.
Portugal watched the feat with redoubled pride: for the title, but also for the presence of the actress alongside the new number 1 in the world.
