With their app Kidgonet, the brothers Moritz and Jannis Hutzler are committed to protecting minors online. Now they are getting prominent support: professional soccer player Manuel Neuer joins the Regensburg start-up as an investor and ambassador.
Moritz Hutzler is studying business informatics at the OTH Regensburg. At the same time, he worked on the idea with his brother Jannis, the OTH reports. The goal: to support parents in teaching children how to use digital media safely and responsibly – without being exposed to the risks of the Internet. As a father, the topic is important to Manuel Neuer: “Supporting Kidgonet is a matter close to my heart.” He was particularly impressed by the sensitive approach to the issue of privacy. The brothers were also recently awarded the Digital Minister’s Special Prize at the Bavarian Digital Prize B.BiGiTAL 2025.
