In the presence of Grünberg’s mayor Marcel Schlosser, first chairwoman Eva Schlosser, together with board members Udo Görnert and Sabine Becker from the mandolin club “Gut Klang” Weickartshain, handed over a donation to the daycare center in Lardenbach. The donation of 470 euros was the proceeds of this year’s Advent concert in the church in Weickartshain. The accordion ensemble “Con Spirito” led by Annette Aff also took part in the concert of the orchestra, which this time was the organizer and conducted by Christina Scharmann. Pastor Cordula Michaelsen addressed the connecting words to the very enthusiastic audience at the end. When the donation was handed over, the daycare center director Laura Kanitz thanked the children for the donation. As she explained, the money will be used to purchase a new climbing frame. This will then replace the previous gaming device that was removed for safety reasons.
