Bitter round of 32 for Magnolia. The victory against Vilnius by 60 – 54 in the return match in Campobasso was not enough: the steel flowers were unable to overturn the defeat by 17 points from seven days ago.
First quarter of the match in complete balance, then the girls led by coach Sabatelli build a 7-point lead in the second and third quarters of the game. Not enough to qualify. The last quarter only certifies the Lithuanian team’s passage to the next round.
