The talented Brazilian Endrick did not play much at Real Madrid under new coach Xabi Alonso.
The team of Slovakian goalkeeper Dominik Greif, Olympique Lyon and Real Madrid have reached a complete agreement on the hosting of Brazilian striker Endrick. The young star, who is only 19 years old, will be keen to showcase his attacking skills in Ligue 1, having received minimal opportunities at the White Ballet under coach Xabi Alonso.
According to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, this is a loan deal until the end of the 2025/26 season with no option to buy, guaranteeing Endrick’s return to Real Madrid at the end of June next year. The French club will invest almost a million euros in his arrival, an amount that will cover around half of the player’s salary for the next six months.

Endrick made his promise to the management of Lyon almost two months ago, when he was attracted by the sports project of coach Paul Fonseca. The Brazilian will wear the iconic number 9 shirt and is expected to sign the contract in the next 48 hours.
Endrick’s main motivation for this move is purely sporting. Given his lack of playing time at Real Madrid, the striker needs a game load to secure a place in Brazil’s squad for the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
The young Brazilian is due to arrive in Lyon on Monday 29 December to join the training process as soon as possible, although his move will not be official until the transfer window opens on 1 January. The French club are now working through bureaucratic procedures with the French league to try and ensure their latest signing can make his debut as early as Saturday January 3 in a league game at AS Monaco.
