Lorenzo & Enamorado: Daes Calls for National Team Inclusion

Excited to celebrate a second Junior title in the Champions Window, he saw Christian Daes, CEO of Tecnoglass, who stated that Tolima was no rival for Junior in the final.

“The real final was in Barranquilla against Nacional, that was the final, that was a fierce match, that was a rival that challenged you, but with Tolima we were never challenged, that is the truth, the team played its role very well”said the passionate shark fan.

Daes could not distance itself from what is now almost a request throughout the country: the call for José Enamorado to the Colombian National Team.

“If (Néstor) Lorenzo doesn’t call Enamorado to the Colombian National Team, he’s crazy because such a skilled player, the least he can do is call him and prove it. This can’t be a joke, the National Team is from Colombia and it seems to me that a player like Enamorado, who has silenced everyone because of his skill… that’s why I had to hire an orthopedist to operate on the Tolima defenders because he dislocated their hip. That man is a talent and there is “I have to call him to the National Team and the information I have is that they are going to call him.”

Daes asked the Junior leadership not to dismantle the team for the Copa Libertadores.

“We have to make an effort for Muriel, we have to make sure that many players do not leave, we cannot let Chará or Didier leave, we cannot dismantle the team because we are starting over with the same thing as always”.

Finally, he did not see a problem with the impossibility of using the Metropolitan stadium since it is going to be remodeled.

“We are going to play at the Romelio and we are going to play nearby in Cartagena, which is as if it were Barranquilla. We are going to have a stadium that will be able to host finals of 60 thousand people and we will get rid of Bogotá, which will have one with 40 thousand, and Medellín, which will have one with 50 thousand. We are going to have one with 60 thousand to see what the noise is.”.
