Ronald Koeman is disappointed with the way FIFA organized the World Cup draw in Washington. The national coach of the Dutch national team thought that it all took a very long time, although he is satisfied with the outcome of the draw.
“It took a long time,” Koeman said in an initial response NOS about the World Cup draw. “You come for the draw and then there is all this fuss around it.” By this he refers to interviews, videos and performances that took place prior to the draw. The draw really started around 7:30 PM, about an hour and a half after the start.

“First you look at the opponents. With so many groups it is balanced. Japan is always a fit and good team. I have less insight into Tunisia at the moment. The last opponent could again be Poland, but I think we can be satisfied,” said Koeman.
“The group is fine. We are going to prepare and that is the most important thing. It is something we can continue with.”
