The comment of the well-known journalist on Radio Napoli Centrale
The journalist Antonello Giannetti spoke on Radio Napoli Centrale during “A football on the radio”:
“Lobotka injury? The choice comes down to Elmas or Vergara. Otherwise he could try Marianucci in midfield, he played in this role at Empoli. But I don’t think this could be Conte’s choice. I liked Vergara a lot, he needs to find the right context and the right position. In the pair with McTominay I would have Elmas start alongside him, we’re talking about a very important match. But there’s Benfica and then Udinese. The players are going alternate, and this becomes a necessity and not a choice. Everyone must have space. Napoli’s midfield clings to McTominay and his position. I expect the same formation seen at the Olimpico apart from Lobotka. He does a unique job and knows how to get down a lot. Surely both Elmas and McTominay would struggle to do this job structure, because it gives security to the team”.
